This is a compilation of upcoming mask-required/universal masking events in the Northeast. The goal of this site is to promote safer and more accessible events that center wearing a mask -- one of our greatest tools for mitigating the spread of airborne diseases such as COVID-19. Please bookmark this page as it will be updated with any edits/additions throughout the month!

Please note: Fan-Club is not directly organizing these events. If you have any follow-up questions about a particular listing, please directly contact the organizer(s)! Attendees can also help shape what an event looks like through outreach and dialogue -— we all share responsibility for co-creating a safer space.

Lastly, Fan-Club uses platforms that actively divest from big tech. This is an intentional move on our part, though it may take a few more steps at times. We appreciate your support in sharing this list as well as the listserve, which will launch in November!!

To reach a volunteer who can let you in and operate the lift, call the number written on our sign outside, or 617-871-0237 (Jeff) To get in the front entrance, there are nine stairs up to the door and then sixteen down to the hall where the dance is. The stage is on a higher level from the dancing, four steps up from the hall and four steps down from the side door. There are two small all-gender bathrooms, not really practical for wheelchairs, on the same level as the dancing. Photos and additional accessibility info at https://www.bidadance.org/accessibility
